Polishing Filters:
Polishing filters are designed to provide further treatment and polishing of the final effluent.
These filters consist of either soil or sand and are employed to reduce micro organisms, phosphorus
and nitrate nitrogen. Soil polishing filters may comprise in-situ, improved soil or imported soil,
whereas sand-polishing filters comprise stratified layers of sand.
