The Johnny Walker Experience, Edinburgh

Diageo will open the brand-new Johnnie Walker visitor attraction in Edinburgh as the focal point of a £150 million investment in Whisky tourism. This new Edinburgh attraction, opening in the summer of 2021, will guide guests through the building, engaging them in the story of Johnnie Walker, Scotch whisky, and Scotland. Visitors can expect to enjoy the art and science of whisky-making in Scotland’s capital. It will feature two rooftop bars with views of the city, as well as retail space on the first floor, which will be a multi-sensory, cutting edge visitor experience across three floors.

Our Clients Water Storage Requirements

Nicholson Plastics have been involved in this project with our client FES since early on in the design stage to supply their cold water storage tank requirements for this major tourist attraction in Edinburgh. We supplied and fitted a 5x2x1 potable cold water storage tank. Our client Xcell contacted our technical sales team for a quotation to manufacture and supply a Water Mist Tank. We were happy to be able to meet both requirements for this project to hold a total capacity of 34,750 litres of water.
