After conducting a site visit to access the situation our surveyor was able to advise the original water tank burst due to each side of the tank compartments servicing different parts of the building. Each compartment was emptying at different rates; therefore, the division walls integrity was comprised. Over time this weakened the division wall and caused the tank to burst.

The existing tank measured a 3.5 x 2 x 2 meters, we recommended a replacement sectional tank of 3.5 x 2 x 2 tank with a lengthways division and division outlets.

We recommended placing extra connections on both compartment sides of the divider so that the sides of the tank could service the full building without draining one side at a time which resulted in the integrity of the tank being compromised, resulting in the burst tank.

Specification of the tank included hot pressed GRP panels, internally flanged base with external flanged walls and standard insulation.

From our first enquiry from Live Active Ltd in mid-July we designed, manufactured, delivered and installed the tank to WRAS specification by the 14th of August.
