Faskally Caravan Park is located amidst some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery in the heart of Perthshire. A relaxed and family friendly run park has holiday homes, wooden lodges and chalets for hire, alongside a serviced area and facilities for touring caravans, mobile homes. Situated close to the picturesque town of Pitlochry just off the A9, we were within 90 minutes drive of Aberdeen, Perth, Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Inverness. Our on site facilities will leave you spoiled for choice – choose to unwind in our Bar and Restaurant, take a swim in our modern, heated indoor swimming pool with sauna and jacuzzi, or escape to the outdoors and take in the scenery and wildlife on one of the nature trails that surrounded the park.
Our Clients Water Storage Requirements
We were asked by a Holiday Park in the Perthshire area to attend site and give some advice on their current water storage set up. On inspection we found a large cylindrical tank which did not comply with the current water bylaws or requirements needed to protect the mains water supply from potential CAT5 fluid. The access into the tank for inspection posed a large risk due to the height so maintenance was made more difficult than it had to be.

We met with the client and measured their current tank. The client also showed us their water usage and gave us a usable volume they required for the park to operate. Our external sales team assessed the area available for a new tank and proposed a 6x5x2m GRP Sectional tank which stored enough usable volume to supply the park when at peak demand and allowed easier to access to inspect and maintain. We also fitted the tank with fully adjustable valves which allow the client to have full control over their stored water during quiet and busy times throughout the year and a 50/50 maintenance division to allow a constant supply of water to the park even during cleaning and disinfections.
As staycations are becoming more and more popular due to current travel restrictions, we are happy to assist Holiday Parks, Caravan Parks, Hotels and more in upgrading their current water storage or we can help introduce stored water if you are expanding and a mains supply is not enough.
